Choose a method
Online conversion is fastest for photos and digital art. Hand tracing on stencil paper is still valid if you already draw. Thermal copiers belong to shops that own that hardware. This guide follows the online method because that is what this website operates.
Online steps
- Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file. Crop clutter first.
- Wait for the first stencil preview. Do not judge quality from the original photo tab.
- Lower Detail if background noise appears. Raise Line weight until the print will survive transfer.
- Use Mirror when the design must read correctly after a skin transfer.
- Open Printer and set a measured size on A4 or Letter.
Image quality
Sharp, high-contrast references survive conversion. Out-of-focus phone shots and heavy JPEG blocking become speckles. Start on the homepage maker with a cropped, well-lit image.
Common mistakes
- Printing before mirroring, then transferring a reversed lettering job.
- Leaving the printer on fit-to-page so a 100 mm design becomes 80 mm.
- Treating a noisy photo stencil as a final tattoo without an artist redraw.
